Lichba sp.z.o.o. is a Polish company providing novel solutions that automates outdoor environmental data analysis and provides recommendations for an end user on how to improve quality of life. The Lichba solution “Djinn EI” allows to extract environmental data from different sources, analyze it in real-time and to deliver easily understandable information about the environmental impact on human health to every citizen. The proof of concept and piloting were made with Airly, Ambee, Institute of Occupational Medicine (Scotland), EIFER (European Institute for energy research, Germany), Swiss Institute of Allergy and Asthma (Switzerland) and many other stakeholders. It became clear that analyzing air quality data and taking measures can reduce sick leaves and improve productivity of staff more than 10% both. The analytics can be very helpful for people sensitive to air pollution to become more resilient and prevent exacerbation of diseases. The Lichba Team has been developing in data analytics for health risk assessment since 2017 and offers its products to sensor manufacturers, smart city companies, educational and healthcare institutions, corporations where human health and productivity are very valued.
The Lichba is cooperating with the Ukrainian NGO “Save Dnipro” that provides environmental data to population and governmental authorities. The Save Dnipro created an instrument “SaveEcoBot” – the first environmental chatbot in Ukraine and an air quality map. For today the SaveEcoBot operates in 15 countries and has above 1,5 m. users.
Both partners cooperated to provide for Ukrainian citizens the best analytical services and recommendations on how to improve the quality of different activities (work, rest, sleep, sport etc) using SaveEcobot. The chatbot will educate people with eco-friendly practices and healthcare advices.
“The best way to prevent diseases linked with air quality is to understand how air pollution affects different body systems like lungs, nerves, skin, brain, immune, heart and other. We aim to prevent diseases rather than cure them afterwards. The Polish Challenge Fund gave us an opportunity for international cooperation and the ability to offer our services in the Ukrainian market. We met an outstanding team from the Save Dnipro who already had done a perfect job to help people in Ukraine struggle with air pollution.” – Anton Gakhovitch, project manager from the Lichba Team.
The population of Ukraine of any gender and age, which lives within the location of the largest energy facilities, factories and in large cities with high traffic levels and totally with 13 million inhabitants (Kyiv city, Lviv, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhia, Donetsk regions) will receive environmental data and analytics through SaveEcoBot chatbot.
SaveDnipro aims to help as many citizens as possible in Ukraine and even abroad with a total number of users more than 1.5 millions.
“Today, Ukrainians already receive some information about the air quality in many cities and towns of the country. However, the AQI does not provide a detailed understanding of health implications under the particular level of pollution. For example, a person with asthma does not know exactly how much time they can spend outdoors without a special mask being exposed to orange AQI level without tangible damage to their health. Therefore, our cooperation with the Polish Challenge Fund is aimed at significantly raising the awareness of Ukrainians about the impact of polluted air on their health here and now, thanks to an innovative solution.” Artem Romanyukov, Co-Founder / Development Director, SaveDnipro
The Lichba invites companies, governments and individuals to test and apply our solutions.
