24 February russian troops occupied the Chornobyl Nuclear Power Plant
On the night of February 24-25 our system SaveEcoBot detected radiation spikes at the plant that were more than 30 times higher than the norm.
Putin announced a "special military operation".
Although in reality a full-scale war has begun.
Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant is still occupied.
This way Russia blackmails the whole world.

Chornobyl NPP
The explosion at the Chornobyl nuclear power plant on April 26, 1986 was the largest man-made disaster in human history.
In Ukraine, KGB archives related to the Chornobyl disaster have recently been declassified. They demonstrate how the Soviet secret service informed the leadership of the Ukrainian SSR and the Soviet Union about what happened. And the leadership clearly did not understand or pretended not to understand the scale of the consequences.
The radioactive cloud passed over part of the territory of the Soviet Union, most of Europe and the eastern part of the United States. Approximately 60% of radioactive substances settled on the Belarusian territory. About 300,000 people were evacuated from the contaminated areas.
"When there were problems with electricity and it was necessary to organize the power supply of the station at the expense of generators, we stole fuel from the occupiers to prevent a disaster.
If we lost electricity, it could have turned into a disaster. There could have been a release of radioactive substances. The scale of this can be imagined. I was not afraid for my life. I was afraid of what would happen if I did not monitor the station. I was afraid that there would be a tragedy for humanity."

OCCUPATION: TIMELINE
In the event of civilian casualties, Russian troops' seizure of the Chornobyl nuclear power plant may be considered a war crime under the Geneva Convention - Deputy Prime Minister Olha Stefanishyna reported.
Energoatom petitioned the IAEA and proposed the establishment of 30-kilometer safe zones around nuclear facilities in Ukraine.
In an official letter to IAEA Director General Rafael Mariano Grossi, the Ukrainian State Agency for Exclusion Zone Management requested an immediate ceasefire and the establishment of demilitarized zones within 20 kilometers of nuclear power plants.
The ChNPP has been completely de-energized due to power line damage. The cooling system for radioactive waste was in jeopardy.
The IAEA had no contact with the ChNPP from March 10 to March 20.
The Ukrainian Main Intelligence Directorate announced the planning of a terrorist attack on the Chornobyl nuclear power plant, which the occupiers would attempt to blame on Ukraine.
The power supply to the Chornobyl NPP has been restored, and the cooling systems have resumed normal operation.
The occupiers destroyed the recently repaired power supply line to the ChNPP and the satellite town of Slavutych once more.
The European Space Agency's satellite recorded seven fires in the Chornobyl zone, with the fire area exceeding limits ten times. To replace the evacuated personnel, 46 volunteers from the plant were sent to perform their duties and ensure the NPP's operation, and 64 out of 211 people were evacuated.
Russian troops raided the ChNPP laboratory.
Russian invaders are leaving the Chornobyl NPP and the satellite town of Slavutych, according to Energoatom. When they fled the Chornobyl nuclear power plant, they took everything they could.
Following the withdrawal of Russian troops, the world learned the truth about the ChNPP occupation, learned about looting, robbery, and disregard for radiation safety. The Russians' presence in Chornobyl caused a slight deterioration of the radiation background as their military equipment moved through the Red Forest, one of Chornobyl's most contaminated areas, raising a layer of toxic dust.
According to the Ministry of Environment, after the russian occupation, the damage in the exclusion zone exceeds UAH 2.5 billion.
CONSEQUENCES OF OCCUPATION
Before leaving the station, the Russians began to take valuables, pack equipment.
They even stole sets, forks, spoons, plates. Leaving behind only ransacked administrative buildings and a pile of garbage.

Since the beginning of the full-scale
invasion, Russians have acted and
continue to act as terrorists
- scaring the world with nuclear warheads
- firing near nuclear power plants in Ukraine
- occupy nuclear power plants
- torture workers
- despise human rights and international norms
OUR GOAL
Suspension of Russia's membership in the IAEA and deprivation of its rights as a member.
Together with 50 NGOs, we signed an open appeal letter and held a rally in front of the IAEA in Vienna, and we continue to insist this be done.
Lobbying for nuclear safety in Ukraine at the global level, thus stopping nuclear terrorism together
Strengthening the existing ones and creating new security policies for international organizations
